Ah... the weekend. These have truly become my favorite days. Not because I dislike what I'm doing Monday through Friday, but because I do like what I'm doing Monday through Friday, and that allows me to enjoy my Saturday and Sunday. And on Saturday and Sunday, I get to enjoy the most quality time with my favorite human and favorite puppy.
Typically, we both have a few things we want to accomplish with our time, but we also both really appreciate just having some one on one time together, however it is that we choose to spend it. Friday nights have become our date nights, which again could be spent at home or going out to dinner. We have decided to do another Whole30 because of how amazing we both felt the first round, and we are definitely making wiser choices and crave those good foods, and that means more nights in and cooking dinner together. Ok, mostly Cassidy cooking, and me watching and chatting. Quality time, regardless.
I am really excited to take on another Whole30 because of how healthy my body felt, but also because I have more ground to gain on my goals. I'm going to be honest with you, reviewing these photos from this shoot actually inspired me to keep going because this is a set of photos I could visibly see the results following the first round of 30 days we completed. I feel trimmer, leaner, and less bloated. I did lose weight, but I feel good, and I feel like I look good, and that makes me so much more confident. It's so crazy how you don't realize how bad you feel until you feel good, and how much disparity there is between the two sides of the spectrum. Now I can recognize how foods impact me so much better.
So our upcoming weekends will again include lots of meal prep and planning, which I'm very much looking forward to! Brunch is my favorite weekend past time, and as much as I love a good brunch spot, fixing it at home with my hubby is pretty sweet too.
