"WEARING A DRESS ISN’T JUST ABOUT THE FABRIC OR CUT, IT’S ABOUT THE FEELING I GET WHEN I WEAR ONE." - Julia Engel

If you follow me on social media, it's certainly no secret how much I adore Julia Engel of the blog Gal Meets Glam. The launch of her first dress collection as a designer unequivocally had me glued to my computer screen. Honestly, choosing a design was such a challenge as each dress is so versatile and polished. Julia embodies an effortless class in her everyday looks, and she visibly infused her style into carefully selected feminine details. Every silhouette in the size-comprehensive collection is finished with a pretty bow, a beautiful print, or a thoughtful embellishment. Eventually I decided on the Judith Dress, out of it's adaptability for day, events, and that it could seamlessly be worn to work as well. The price point is a slight investment, but with the quality material, I wanted to choose a style I could wear again and again. Meet Judith (named for her mom), the first of what I assume will be many dresses in my Gal Meets Glam collection.

Julia has now released her full May collection, with a new line arriving each month, and the decisions only continue to increase. Over the weekend I was able to finally see the Nordstrom exclusives at Easton Town Center in Columbus. I shared a few fitting room peeks of my favorites in my Instagram stories, but in case you missed it, I have added them to my highlights under "fit sessions." This also means I took home my second dress, and I'm still considering which one will be my third.

Upcoming this week I will share more of my favorite pieces. Happy unofficial start to summer where we can wear ALL the dresses!
